This is not fixed!!! I've been having this issue since I got my Dell Latitude E7470 Ultrabook. I have Ubuntu 18.04.4 installed and with each new version of Ubuntu I hoped this will be fixed. It's not! My installation doesn't even use synaptics, it's using libinput so, #32 doesn't bring anything new. I want to mention that the exact same thing is happening even if I use a wireless mouse. And it isn't that the cursor jumps to the bottom left hand side of the screen but it sticks there for quite a few seconds until I manage to pull it back up. WTH is this issue and why can't anyone figure it out?
Please help!
