The package sync to debian testing ('upstream') has accomplished this

. This bug was submitted just a few weeks before gutsy release, (was
almost assuredly in a version freeze prior to this), so it obviously
wasn't going to make it in time for 7.10. I have no idea if there's any
demand for this to be backported to gutsy, but in general I would say
