Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.15
If I turn off the monitor, linux doesn't boot until I turn it on again. The machine is very hot, with the fan at top speed, so it should be in a busy wait. I've waited up to 5 minutes without any result. The kernel boots adding this option to the boot line: video=radeonfb:ignore_edid But then, when I turn on the monitor it can work only at 640x480. I've to reboot the machine to get it working at higher resolutions. The solution is for radeon chips but I have a Intel 950 GMA chip which will have some other setting or might not support this option. Have someone solved this problem? ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Apple Mac Mini doesn't boot without monitor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
