Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I have noticed that the recovery dialog in openoffice completes, but
then the button has no text in it. Recently, I came across other menu's
and buttons that had icons, but no text. I've seen many bugs with terms
like "context menu text missing"; they all seem to be closed, but none
have solved the problem.

After hunting around for a while, I went into the language settings and
change the "user interface language" to English (UK) where it was
origianlly English (ZA) for South Africa as this is my OS locale. After
that change, the context menu's were all complete.

Although I can now work comfortably (in English only) the real problem
is not resolved: The internationalisation files are incomplete,
rendering openoffice more difficult than going out and bying MS Windows
and MS Office (Refer to Ubuntu Bug #1)

Besides Bug #1 though - how does one really market an office suite with
incomplete menus. Before it gets said, the excuse that it's free so
deal with it is a cop out, it's also "enterprise ready" so shouldn't
your "supported" locale be complete?

Regards,
Danson Joseph
