Public bug reported: I am using the Ububtu 20.04 beta. A few days ago my bluetooth controller stopped working, before this it worked with my bluetooth mouse just fine.
In Gnome Settings, Bluetooth is reported to be "off". When I turn it on via the slider, nothing happens. If I leave the "Bluetooth" section and return it's shown as being off. In "bluetoothctl" I get the following error when I use the "devices" command: Agent registered [bluetooth]# devices No default controller available The "list" command reports nothing. However, "hcitool scan" will find nearby audio devices hcitool scan Scanning ... 74:FD:A0:06:A2:DD Amazonbasics210 50:18:05:51:95:D4 otium Running "lsusb" shows the controller ( 8087:0029 ): Bus 008 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub Bus 007 Device 005: ID 093a:2510 Pixart Imaging, Inc.
