Public bug reported:
After fresh install trying to boot into ubuntu is not possible without
doing the following;
On splash screen hit ctrl-alt f1 (to break into console)
type;
modprobe ide_core
exit
at which point boot continues....
(I have tried to add ¨modprobe ide_core¨ to modules file but to no
avail)
