Seems like below is what causes installer crash: >Apr 25 04:02:05 ubuntu ubiquity: umount: /target: target is busy.
I'm having the same problem replacing 18.04 with 20.4, in my case it crashed saying that the disk is currently in use followed by >Ubiquity: AssertionError: Failed to mount the target: /target I also have a video of the failed installation flow, I reproduced the problem several times but not the last few times I tried, maybe there is some detail in the flow I'm missing. Let me know if any other info is needed. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot_2020-04-26-16-29-57-986_com.miui.gallery.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1874965/+attachment/5360829/+files/Screenshot_2020-04-26-16-29-57-986_com.miui.gallery.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1874965 Title: install 20.04 crashed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1874965/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
