*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1866194 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1866194
After looking through the posted bug and comments I'm not sure that the issues are related. It seems more like, in this case, GNOME is just out of sync with pulse about what the default device is thanks to pulse changing it out during login. Changing the selected device fixes the issue (until the next login). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838577 Title: Default audio device changes on reboot; audio still outputs using my previously-selected device To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1838577/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
