Nothing in this list is even close to "crash due to phone passthrough"

So there is nothing yet anyone can action on to fix this for you :-/
My gut feeling is that this is flaky but if it is not and easy to reproduce 
you'd need to upgrade package by package in Debian to try to identify which 
change (or at least which package) it was that fixed the issue.
