With SCIM on, I tried to launch the following programs: - Firefox: opens the window briefly and then crashes. - Thunderbird: opens the window, which looks good and responsive but crashes for every action described in my 2007-11-18 post. - Gnome-terminal, korganizer, real player, XSane and presumably any other program: launch and run just fine.
