Public bug reported:

Looks like a frequent problem that hits my system : I have no sound on my
headphones after I reboot my laptop until I unplug and plug back in the
headphones.
I *may* have sound through the PC speaker. I used to have none, but today sound
came out of it. As I have upgraded to 20.04 and have done some modifications in
config files some time ago with 19.xx, I'm unsure this is reliable information.
I've tried to apply some solutions found here or there, without success.
