You don't seem to have the dock enabled. You have: 'apps-m...@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com', 'places-m...@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com', 'ubuntu-appindicat...@ubuntu.com', 'window-l...@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com', 'workspace-indica...@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com', 'windowsnaviga...@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com', 'drive-m...@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com'
Unfortunately I can't recommend a simple GUI option to fix this that works in Ubuntu 18.04 because the old GUI is buggy (bug 1718850) and the new GUI is missing (gnome-shell-extension-prefs). Please try: sudo apt install --reinstall gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock and if that didn't work after a reboot then you will need to edit your gsettings: org.gnome.shell enabled-extensions and add 'ubuntu-d...@ubuntu.com'. Alternatively, if you can then please just install Ubuntu 20.04 (https://releases.ubuntu.com/20.04/). ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1881190 Title: dock missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1881190/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
