Tristan, I cannot reproduce this in Ubuntu 7.10. Hitting cancel brings up the abort dialog, with the cursor still spinning in the background, but canceling that causes the main installer window to finish loading and switch to the next page. I suspect we got rid of this bug when we switched to the components calling pages rather than the other way around. Can you test again and confirm that this is fixed?
