@Frederick, At least we have to fix this situation so that you'll be able to install/upgrade packages, and certainly you need that linux- modules-extra package for iwlwifi driver. So probably there is something wrong to the file permssions/mount path/file system ... etc., or most likely, do you have some kind of antivirus program, e.g. Sophos Antivirus, installed? If so, could you disable it temporarily by:
$ sudo savdctl disable $ sudo apt-get install -f And to reenable it after it's done: $ sudo savdctl enable -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1882194 Title: Intel Wireless 7265 [8086:095a] Subsystem [8086:5010] not probed after kernel packages upgrade failures To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1882194/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
