I workaround it thanks to this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1404929#p1404929 :
``` In "/etc/modprobe.d/intel.conf" put: options snd_hda_intel enable=1,0 This is how you disable or enable specific audio hardware when they share the same driver. If the wrong one gets disabled then replace "1,0" with "0,1" ``` I disabled Nvidia snd_hda_intel and kept my ALC887 from motherboard on, and now suspend works and also I've sound transmitting from my motherboard to speakers. Nvidia HDMI output provides video, but probably not audio :/ It's an issue but right now not too big for me -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1882945 Title: snd_hda_intel blocks/freezes suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1882945/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
