Public bug reported: After plugins are executed (eg: username/password setup, timezone, language, etc), ubiquity automatically calls the install modules. Plugin developer does not have a choice to only execute the plugins and skip the install module conditionally (perhaps using a environment variable).
An example of a suggested fix for debconf UI is attached below. Summary of patch: conditionally skip the install module at /usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/frontend/debconf_ui.py based on an environment variable. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1886238 Title: Ubiquity does not allow skipping install modules To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1886238/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
