Public bug reported: [Impact]
* The microphone icon only consists of small outlines which are very close to each other, making the icon look fuzzy and hard to understand, especially on screens with high sharpness * Backporting this to focal would greatly improve the visibility and legibility of the microphone icon and thus help to improve the overall look of the ubuntu desktop in focal * The fix is already in ubuntu master: https://github.com/ubuntu/yaru/pull/2200 [Test Case] * If your computer does not have an integrated microphone, connect an external microphone to your computer and see how it shows up in the gnome-shell top panel. Increase the sharpness of your display until the icon becomes fuzzy and hard to understand * Build yaru from master and if your computer does not have an integrated microphone, connect an external microphone to your computer and see how it shows up in the gnome-shell top panel. Increase the sharpness of your display and watch how the icon stays sharp and "intact" even with high sharpness [Regression Potential] * No regression potential, tested by building the branch of the pull request [Other Info] * No additional information ** Affects: yaru-theme (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1887389 Title: Microphone icon outlines can look fuzzy on certain screens To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yaru-theme/+bug/1887389/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
