Public bug reported:

Lubuntu 18.04 DVD 32 bit version-Install to 500 G SSD internal in a
Lenovo G530 laptop Will not boot from SSD. The cursor at top left
position flashes and the computer will not boot from SSD: it just sits
flashing. Have I somehow botched the installation to the SSD?I did all
the BIOS nonsense to have the computer boot from the 500 G SSD. Will
the laptop boot from the DVD? Yes. Change BIOS to boot from the 500G SSD
and it fails to boot.

THIS BUG appeared when I tried to see if the installation to the old HDD
230 G connected via a USB to SATA connector ( the old HDD is now
external to the laptop.and on this cable rather than inside the laptop).
This bug appeared during the installation. ( I assumed that the long
list of the details is attached?) Thank You.
