@Milan: I don't doubt that there maybe also be a driver issue, but that wasn't the root cause of this issue.
@All: It might be helpful to know, for each of these cases, if what you are seeing is also correlated with the patch we reverted (and are planning to reintroduce) in older releases. To do so, you could try reverting: commit 0b6a70743beacb ("usb: handle warm-reset port requests on hub resume").
