Public bug reported: I burned a USB device in my new Ubuntu 20.04 desktop, with `sudo dd if=ubuntu-20.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso of=/dev/sdd` which is completed successfully(I checked the hash). But when I insert this USB to install Ubuntu20.04 on new HD, in booting step there happened a serious error warning:
`initramfs unpacking failed decoding failed ubuntu 20.04` And then the screen become fuzzy and stuck. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1892173 Title: `initramfs unpacking failed decoding` boot error in USB-live To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1892173/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
