Hi Tobias and thanks for this bug report. Shortcut clashes are unavoidable, but I believe terminal emulators should do their best to avoid taking over the F<n> keys. I was going to suggest you to disable the shortcut from the gnome-terminal settings, but apparently the shortcut is not listed there and it is not disabled even by unchecking the main "Enable shortcuts" checkbox.
I followed-up to LP: #1380194 (a similar bug report) and I'm going to reassign this report to gnome-terminal. I don't think there's anything that should be fixed on the htop side. ** Also affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: htop (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1893118 Title: Unable to exit htop in ubuntu desktop terminal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1893118/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
