Public bug reported: The application is totally silent on my kubuntu 20.04 machine. The same goes for the version of the application packaged in the snap store, that corresponds to the stable branch. The only version of the application that appears to be capable of delivering the sound of the videos that are being edited is the appimage from the developers github project, that is quite outdated, though. To make the matter worse, the developer has currently closed the means to report bugs "while the 0.2 branch of the application is in development". This means that it is impossible to report bugs about either the 0.1.x stable branch (packaged as a snap) and the 0.2 branch packaged as a deb.
