I just wanted to mention I've been having disconnection issues w/ my i219-LM on both Thinkpad T460s and Dell Precision 7730 laptops in Ubuntu, sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting several times per hour (REALLY irritating).
I updated to linux-image-5.8.0-18-generic and haven't had any issues since AFAIK. It's in the groovy main repo.
