It seems to work in Xorg sessions at least. An upstream bug report is not appropriate because the switch does not exist upstream. A simple workaround is to toggle the setting manually by running:
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features "['scale-monitor- framebuffer']" ** Summary changed: - Fractional scaling switch doesn't work + Fractional scaling switch doesn't work in Wayland sessions ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: High => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1894593 Title: Fractional scaling switch doesn't work in Wayland sessions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1894593/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
