Strange! It has happened to me on 3 occasions, consecutively. I had to reinstall the system 4 times in 2 days. I'm damn sure of it. Maybe it also depends on other factors like the hardware configuration or if you also have another OS. In my case I have a double boot with Windows XP. However, Windows is on a separate HDD.
