@ Chris, I was almost sure, that the bug was squashed. But I cannot see anything wrong with what you describe in comment #19, so it seems there more to do until we have iso files that can boot all our computers (if at all possible before the release of 20.10).
Anyway, I look forward to both your results and my result from testing the old HP computers when cloning from the new iso file by Steve Langasek according to comment #20.
