Ubuntu 2020-10-14 groovy daily ISO (same as comment #40)

(1) wiped thumb-drive
(2) `mkusb-plug groovy-desktop-amd64.iso` (option N or non-persistent was 
selected)

It's been booted TWICE successfully on the box. I'm out of time so will
have to continue testing later.

Of note on shutdown:  IO errors on shutdown, sdb . async page read
Are those (now) errors what corrupts the normal written `dus groo<tab>` ISO?  
data is written to device?
