Public bug reported: The sound card is the Realtek ALC 887 8-channel High Def on a ASUS M5 A97 R2.0 motherboard. When I check sound settings in settings, output device is listed as "Dummy Output" and I cannot change it. Test speakers and nothing. I'm assuming that the upgrade got rid of what it thought was out of date drivers ?
