I'm (sort of) happy that I can use my computer again. If this project is active, then change the status of this bug to something appropriate, and I'll support you.
Philosophically, I'd prefer to be running an open-source version of the software, but I need to get stuff done in the meantime. Installing the proprietary version is a workaround.
