For one, I think we should avoid the Snap, as the author of bashtop doesn't recommend it as an installation method. Furthermore, the author of the Snap is different.
Secondly, the author does recommend Qterminal, at least as one with true color support. It also seems to be really particular about locales and fonts. Freemono should have excellent support for all of the required Unicode tables. There's some mention of need for "wide characters" with no real explanation of what, exactly, that means. That said, without clearly defined requirements, I think it's much more appropriate to blame bashtop itself here. Finally: the description of the problem is poor to say the very least. Linking elsewhere is not great, especially to somewhere that requires a log in to see screenshots. Even there, there's some argument as to what the problem is, or at least that's how I see it. That said, I'm setting this as incomplete, to boot. ** Package changed: qterminal (Ubuntu) => bashtop (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: bashtop (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1901313 Title: Incorrect output when running bashtop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bashtop/+bug/1901313/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
