Public bug reported:

Hello,

plank do not start when running mate desktop with x2go.

trying manual run show :
[CRITICAL 08:57:08.079851] [AbstractMain:255] Only X11 environments are
supported.

The env var XDG_SESSION_TYPE contains 'tty'.

Plank can start with this command line :

XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11 plank

As a quick and dirty fix I run manually every time i start a new remote session
:
XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11 nohup plank >/dev/null

I dont know if it is a mate-desktop, plank or x2go bug ?
