** Description changed: I'm running 20.04 LTS on an HP Envy x360 Ryzen 7 3700U with Radeon Vega Mobile. The gdm3 package is at version 3.36.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.2. When I trigger a suspend with `echo mem > /sys/power/state` the system appears to go into mem suspend correctly. Hitting a key should bring the display back with the lock screen displayed, but instead briefly brings a slightly scrambled screen to life and then the screen goes black and stays that way. - The system is still up as I can SSH into it. Killing the gdm-wayland- - session process then brings me back to the GDM login screen and I can - start a new session. + The system is still up as I can SSH into it.
