Public bug reported: Initially unable to connect via USB port to any Arduino board. No port was selectable in the Arduino IDE. Added tty to users group and then able to select com port and upload programs to the Arduino, however interrogation of the Arduino board not possible (tools,GetBoardInfo) which should return the board information returns an error " Native serial port, can't obtain info". The issue may also be preventing serial data from the Arduino being read.
The Arduino IDE software works properly without having tty in the users group in 64 bit Raspberry Pi OS.
