When I attempt to Edit-->>Preferences I get the following error message:

Note that prior to the updates that I applied this morning, Firefox
worked just fine. After the updates, I attempted to print a web document
and printing failed. I attempted to look at my printing configuration
via Edit-->>Preferences, but was prevented from doing so by this
problem.
I have confirmed that CUPS printing is still functioning on my computer.
