Thanks a lot for your email.. I would like to inform you that after that problem i shutted my laptop down and turned it on again and then i saw it was working properly..then It asked for some updates.. But from my curiosity i searched about it and found out the solution from askubuntu site. and that was very simple that saying not to check the box of allowing third party app before installing what i did watching youtube tutorial.. Then at the second time i didnt check that box and went for the installation process and then it worked perfectly..Now im working on ubuntu without facing any major problem till now..
I will be very thankfull to you if you kindly let me know that *is this a proper solution of that issue or not? Can i use like this in future?* And also im confused about if my laptop is ok to use linux on it? because i saw the list of certified devices thats hardware can run linux on it and theres no Acer.. So as you are an expert please can you tell me about it? My device is Acer Aspire A515-52G-57N3. *Thank you!* -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1908719 Title: "installation crashed" while installation was about to finish.
