It may really be hidetop...@mathieu.bidon.ca Gnome Shell extension. Now that you mention it again I opened up Extension application and try playing with the extension and when pressing the new shortcut key (that was not set until now), whole screen froze and I was requested to hard reset the laptop (red rectangle on print-screen). I rebooted the laptop and I am playing again with extension keyboard shortcuts, but now everything works fine. I am playing it for a while setting all kind of setting and works fine. I still don't have reproducible steps, something just triggers the freeze, but I can't figure it out what that is.
I have collected files like requested in #22 and I am attaching them. Maybe from the logs you can see if there is the same pattern.
