For future reference, if anyone has the same issue I fixed it by upgrading the driver to the version `nvidia-driver-460`.
So fix: ``` # Allow yourself to get the newest driver versions sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa sudo apt install nvidia-driver-460 ``` I also threw in a `sudo apt-get purge nvidia*` for good measure. I did have to `cd /` otherwise the purge would fail. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1910496 Title: nvidia-dkms-440 440.100-0ubuntu0.20.04.1: nvidia kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-440/+bug/1910496/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
