You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hi guys!
I got the same problem on my multiple Ubuntu Server 20.04 machines. I'm using byobu on my machines. When I log in with ssh on the machine it gives me the prompt looking like `^[[?1;0cusername@servername:~$ 1;0c`. I tried to disable the next lines in ~/.bashrc file: ``` if [ "$color_prompt" = yes ]; then PS1='${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)}\[\033[01;32m\]\u@\h\[\033[00m\]:\[\033[01;34m\]\w\[\033[00m\]\$ ' else PS1='${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)}\u@\h:\w\$ ' fi unset color_prompt force_color_prompt ``` I'm using Windows Terminal. And the problem didn't appear then. But how to fix that problem? ** Affects: byobu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Weird symbols in prompt when color_prompt enabled in ~/.bashrc with byobu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1912619 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
