Thanks for the bug report. It appears you don't have a working kernel driver for your Nvidia GPU, and that maybe an unsupported driver was installed manually.
If you have any way of logging in then please use the 'Additional Drivers' app to install a supported Nvidia driver on the system. If you do not have any way of logging in then I suggest reinstalling Ubuntu from scratch and then be careful NOT to install any drivers from the Nvidia website. Use only the 'Additional Drivers' app to install Nvidia drivers. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1912872 Title: Freezes on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1912872/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
