Thanks for the bug report. 1. Please check that you haven't enabled any additional GNOME extensions in the 'Extensions' app. There should only be the three built-in ones. If you have more than that then try uninstalling or disabling them.
2. Next time you have to "hard reboot", please then run this command in a Terminal window: journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt and attach the resulting text file here. 3.
