it's late (sleepy), so I'll write like a dummy... here's what I'm
seeing:
example 1
---------------
pdf'd with 1.1.3 -> 2k (file size from your site)
pdf'd with 1.9 -> 115k (size from your site)
pdf'd with 2.04 -> 114k
example 2
---------------
pdf'd 1.1.3 -> 119k (size from your site)
pdf'd 1.9 -> 171k (size from your site)
pdf'd 2.0.4 -> 354k
to replicate, I did:
1. save both sxw files to disk
2. open them with OOo 2.0.4
3. export them to pdf
These numbers confirm the bug uless I'm doing something horribly wrong.

openoffice.org2 creates pdf and ps files much bigger than oo1.1.3
