@YannUbuntu: I don't have time for fresh installs . . . but, as I've posted here a few times, if grub2 is updated in any of my ubuntu or ubuntu based, and likely in Debian . . . the grub menu and the 6 options menu are gone . . . and usually only ubuntu will boot.
I have Lu 21.04, Linux Mint 20, and Debian Bullseye . . . the problem has been going on for at least a year now . . . definitely was happening in 20.04 and 20.10 iterations . . . I had a U-MATE 20xxxx install for awhile that manifested this same issue, got corrupted and turned into Debian. I am too old to know for sure, but I don't think it was happening in 18xx???? Problem does not manifest with OpenSUSE options or Manjaro options running grub2 updates. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1863434 Title: 20.04 grub menu not visible To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1863434/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
