Public bug reported: Running ubuntu-20.04.2-preinstalled-server-arm64+raspi.img on a Raspberry PI 3
After installation of the Ubuntu software updating apps and installing new apps fail. Several repositories cannot be accessed because their certificates aren't yet valid. The reason is that the 'timedate' service does not synchronize the system clock after boot. At the moment the system clock will be set on the first system start 1 year behind (1.4.2020). Workaround: After replacing timedate with ntp all works fine. $ sudo timedatectl set-ntp no $ sudo apt install ntp $ ntpq -p ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 20.04.2 arm64 installing raspberry ubuntu updating -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1920808 Title: ubuntu-20.04.2 for raspberry, updating and installing errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1920808/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
