I fixed the issue by modifying /usr/share/apps/gwenview/tools/gimp.desktop , line: "Exec=gimp-remote -n %F" --> "Exec=gimp-remote %F" . You must also delete gimp.desktop from ~/.kde/share/apps/gwenview/tools if it exists.
