Hi,
short explantation for XFCE 4.16 (Xubuntu 21.04):
- If trash is full -> You can empty.
If you did this, trash is already "full". You can "empty" trash again, but it's
empty. After system restart or Session restart it shows correctly empty trash
(icon and you can't empty it again).
- Same in other way. If trash was empty and you delete something, you
can't empty trash (only manually by mark files and "remove
permanently"). It shows files in Trash but you can't empty it. By
restarting system/session you can empty trash.
