** Description changed: After installing VLC, libdvdread7 and libdvdcss2 my movie will still not auto-mount so that I can watch it. However, when I reboot the computer the optical drive now shows and will play the movie. This did not happen in 18.04 or when 20.04 first came out. Thinking this was a bug specific to Ubuntu, I tried Kubuntu, Opensuse, and Fedora all three - distro's behaved the same way. This would seem to be a problem with HCE + distro's behaved the same way. This would seem to be a problem with HWE and how devices are recognized when plugged into USB ports. I do not have this problem with flash drives, just optical. I have verified that the problem is not the drive itself by testing it in Windows which mounts the drive right away and plays the DVD. It will also play the DVD in Ubuntu but only after a reboot with the drive remaining plugged in. If I unplug the DVD-RW USB drive and plug in back in, the device will not mount, although it does show it in the "Disks" utility. Bus 002 Device 008: ID 0e8d:1887 MediaTek Inc.
