Public bug reported: The computer is a new Dell XPS 13 9310.
It came with UBUNTU 20.04 installed at the factory (in March 2021). I installed the KUBUNTU desktop on it myself. The computer **crashed** 2 weeks ago after a routine software update. The BIOS was accessible, but the UBUNTU login screen never showed up. The Dell support were not able to assist with recovery. So I installed a fresh UBUNTU 20.04 on the computer, and then the KUBUNTU package. Today the computer **crashed again**. Without any apparent trigger. I do not know if the problem is with UBUNTU or with KUBUNTU, since I did not use the GNOME-like desktop at all. Sadly there is no report to attach, since the OS is gone from my machine. I will request from Dell support to replace my hardware (motherboard), yet **I suspect the problem is with software**.
