Did something go wrong in the latest kernel update that applied along with the move to the 470 version of the Nvidia drivers? I use VirtualBox on my computer... VirtualBox cites that it does not have its needed kernel drivers loaded either.
Another system I have not updated the 5.8.0-59-generic kernel on still successfully runs VirtualBox. This system I applied the 5.8.0-63-generic kernel to has both the nvidia driver issue and no longer will run VirtualBox. I will not update the kernel on that still working system. I tried booting this impacted system back to the 5.8.0-59-generic kernel. VirtualBox still work not work... complains its kernel drivers will not load. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1937128 Title: package nvidia-dkms-470 (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: installed nvidia-dkms-470 package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-470/+bug/1937128/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
