Occurs on my Acer Aspire 5050-3785.  AMD Turion 64
Feisty 7.10
My computer will not boot.  
"PCI: Bios Bug #81[49435000] found

"PCI: Cannot Allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:05:0"
"PCI: Cannot Allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:06:0"
"PCI: Cannot Allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:06:0"
"PCI: Cannot Allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:07:0"
"PCI: Cannot Allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:07:0"
"kernel panic - not syncing: No init found.  Try passing init= option to 
kernel."

Feisty 7.10 installed as dual boot with Vista in October.  Usual issues with 
WLAN and ACPI which I lived with.
I have accepted all updates via adept since installation.
Computer booted fine through 12/19/2007.  Updated with Adept.  Can't recall 
nature of updates.  Tonight I got the error messages above.
