Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
If a list of files and folders extends beyond the edges of the screen (if there are scrollbars), and you try to drag something into this window, the window should automatically scroll as you get near the edges. Currently, it scrolls very slowly if you are within a few pixels of some invisible line that's very hard to find. What should happen is that it scrolls smoothly as you get beyond, say, 1/4th of the height of the window from the edge, and increases in scrolling speed as you move closer to the edge, and then you can slow down and stop where you want to by moving the mouse back to the center region. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Automatic scrolling to off-screen content is slow and hard to use https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
